These volumes constitute the grand catalog of the Kumamoto University Entrusted Eisei Bunko Document Collection, a set of approximately 58,000 ancient texts and illustrations passed down from the Kumamoto Domain Hosokawa Clan. This represents the culmination of six and a half years of research since the center's founding in April 2009.
